HAND Volunteer Needs

There are many needs within our organization. Below are some of the current needs with a brief outline of what they entail. The links below each position will generate an email to the appropriate Area Coordinator or Committee Chair.

Newsletter
Writers are needed to contribute to the parent newsletter as well as help with the bulk mailing.

Fundraising
Ideas and suggestions for events in the future are needed as well as the manpower to organize and execute the plan alongside the Fundraising Coordinator.

Phone Volunteers
This is usually done by people who have experienced a pregnancy or infant loss. We have a special need for Spanish speaking volunteers.

Support Group Facilitators and Co-Facilitators
Again, this is usually done by people who have experienced a pregnancy or infant loss. Co-facilitators, however, can be trained volunteers with a demonstrated sensitivity to bereavement issues.

Website Assistant
Working with the Web Editor to write and develop new areas for the website.

Current Urgent Needs Any skills in the area of legal and financial as well as grant writing could be greatly utilized as we are currently in the process of seeking grants for our organization.
